This is Why God Hates America

Oh, sure, you can call it wonderful that the parents of the out-of-wedlock child are going to make a go of it and create a better life for their son. You can rejoice in the reconciliation of a couple who have battered one another in the press. You can call it a miracle.

What it truly is is a cold and calculated public relations move to neutralize the threat of Levi Johnston to Sarah's shot at the GOP presidential bid.

We all have our price, and Levi just sold his soul.

"I hope my mom will accept us," says Bristol. As if Mom didn't know there was a photo shoot going on in the front yard with a team from Us magazine. And didn't also set it up. Way to go, Jan Wenner. You were once a respected publisher. Now you're a tool.

This is Idiocracy, where the teenage couple related to a hardly-qualified and talking-point spewing pageant queen can become known only by their first names and appear on the cover of a gossip rag to announce their wedding.

Sadder, much of America cares.

Todd Palin Plays the Accordian for God

In case any doubters out there wondered about Sarah's rightful place in heaven, I have found the following picture on the Jehovah's Witnesses' website.

With only a few minor additions (glasses for her, goatee and darkened hair for him) it is easy to see that the JW's are clearly a prophetic bunch. Long may she reign.

(A note to my right-leaning readers: If you can honestly say this woman would be good for the country, you've bought into a media-created myth, much like you think America did when they elected Obama. If you want a true, clear-thinking Republican with a good shot at the White House, I'd recommend Jeb Bush. Despite the tarnished family name, this guy would be a major force if he threw his hat in the ring. Just the bilingual factor alone could sway the historically Democrat-leaning Hispanic voters, whom he successfully courted when winning the top spot in Florida. Florida voters of every stripe still respect him after two terms as Governor, and that's saying a lot.)
